Cromwell's Evergreen Active Adult 55+ Community is located on the outskirts of town. Farmington, Glastonbury, and Meriden can all be seen from this resale development, which is situated on a greenspace-protected slope. In the tranquil neighborhood of Evergreen, you'll find a dog park and gardens. Boston, New York, and Vermont are all within two hours of Evergreen thanks to its strategic location.

On the community grounds, Evergreen residents can take advantage of excellent walking pathways and gazebos. There are plenty of places to go for a picnic or spend an afternoon with a book throughout the neighborhood. The Woodland Trail can be found to the west of the neighborhood, while Cromwell Dog Park and Cromwell Community Garden can be found to the north.

Homes & Real Estate

Ranch-style homes built by Trilacon, a distinguished constructor, are situated on a hillside near protected green space owned by the town and available for purchase by single families. There are five different floor plans to choose from, all with first-floor master suites. Two- and three-bedroom houses range in size from 1,232 to 1,996 square feet and have a 2- or 3-car attached garage as well as guest parking. It's possible in some versions to add a second story with a bedroom, bathroom or loft, and to turn the library into an extra bedroom. Four-season rooms and covered patios are standard features on most models. Energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment are standard in evergreen homes. Oak-finished flooring can be found throughout the house, including the kitchen, dining room, living room, and foyer.

Multiple annual events keep residents involved in the neighborhood. For example, there are numerous summer picnics, holiday dinners, and Beautification Days in which volunteers from the community work together to improve the grounds before enjoying refreshments. Throughout the year, ladies' luncheons and dinner parties are also arranged for fun and networking opportunities.

Located in central Connecticut, Evergreen residents can easily access daily necessities and local events. Nearby grocery stores include Stop & Shop, Shoprite of Cromwell, and PriceRite, with a Walmart Supercenter just over a mile away. A CVS or Stop & Shop Pharmacy is less than a mile away. There are several restaurants within a five-mile radius of Route 372. The Cromwell Diner serves classic American meals, while Wooster St. Pizza serves up Italian classics in a creative car-themed setting. Cava, a little under 6 miles away, serves excellent old-world meals in a European setting.
