Marvin and Laura are a husband and wife team with over 30 years in business and marriage. They have two lovely daughters and three wonderful grandchildren. They enjoy attending UConn basketball games, watching films, working out, and traveling. Marv is also a third-blackbelt in Taekwondo, training for 20 years, and has taught martial art for 10 years. Laura has always had a flair for design and staging and has also done investment decorating with antiques with her family, as well as window treatment sales and design. They love meeting new people, sharing their talents, and new experiences together.


They began their real estate endeavors in 1983. Marvin sold 52 properties in his first year in real estate, where the average sales for an agent are seven homes every year. He has an accounting background, a sound financial mentality, and excellent negotiating skills. 


On the other hand, Laura grew up in an entrepreneurial household. She studied social work but found her calling in the sales and business world. She began her career in sales early in life and continues to hone her passion for selling and sales/business management. Part of her sales career was also Regional Manager for Welcome Wagon International--a greeting/advertising business for newcomers/new-homeowners in Connecticut and Westchester N.Y. for 7 years. She grew her area to 65 Greeting/Sales Representatives and 1500 businesses. She became the top sales manager for Welcome Wagon of 100 managers nationwide in a volume of Reps and Sales. She also managed sales and training for 13 Sales agents in the Re/Max office she and her husband owned for 5 years. She now manages their Real Estate business of 30 plus years and lists homes for sale together with her husband. She has always had a hand and input into all aspects of their Real Estate business.


Laura and Marvin excelled at sales together. According to Marvin and Laura, persistence, patience, and strong follow-through are the keys to a successful business. They enjoy assisting people in making a seamless and coordinated transition into a home. Laura and Marvin are constantly willing “to go the extra mile” for their clients.
